1973 Datsun 240-Z (aka) The Rude Z

Drive-train

Motor: 

Rebello 3.1 L 

I had a wicked custom cam Dave had done for me, which is great for all out top end, but I've since moved to his suggested, mid-range cam for better torque and street driving. 


Intake: Triple Mikuni 44phh (big chokes) Pressurized fuel system


Ignition:

MSD 6AL2 Spark box with MSD Blaster 2 Coil and Pertronix Igniter 


Exhaust:

Datsun Comp. Header to a custom 3' stainless steel exhaust and finished with 3" Borla.

Suspension

Dando's Performance 

Andy did the suspension for me just before I started working there.


Rims and Tires

I'm running 16x8's on it right now and they rub just a touch in the rear if I have a passenger. Not a problem, it's usually just me

Interior

I have a pair of MR2 Recaro 4 way adjustable 

MOMO 4 point harnesses. 

MOMO Course Wheel

The car is ready for paint and interior now. I am leaning towards the Pandem body kit. I will probably go to an Alcantara dash restoration.
